About Mishele
Meet Mishele,
Our Founder
Mishele Vieira, CPO® has been organizing individuals, families, and companies since 1983 improving their systems, surroundings and profitability. Her background includes sales, marketing, and operations management in the media and technology industries.
The skills and talents developed from her corporate background were used to launch her professional organizing company Away With Chaos in 2002, with the goal of empowering individuals and companies through designing functional spaces and systems with less chaos. Mishele works with her clients to determine what challenges they face in getting and staying organized. Getting to the root of the challenge without judgment, she helps clients reduce and release the “stuff” that often overwhelms them. Incorporating an individual’s style, she partners with clients to develop solutions that work and can be easily maintained. Focusing on each individual’s unique abilities, she coaches clients in maximizing their productivity, achieving their goals, and making room for what matters most™.
Mishele is a speaker, author and active member of NAPO, (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals), and the Los Angeles chapter of NAPO. She is a proud member of NAPO’s Golden Circle – Professional Organizers who have been in business for five years or more. In 2007 Mishele became one of the first in history to earn the official Certified Professional Organizer (CPO®) designation. Mishele is the creator of the popular “Get It Done Day” and developed a workshop “managing chaos” where she teaches individuals how to keep chaos from seeping back into their space, schedule and life. Mishele lives in Southern California with her husband and chocolate Labrador who doesn’t know she’s a dog.
Philosophy
But let’s be perfectly honest, some people have no time for or interest in learning how to organize. They know that their time is best spent doing what they’re up to working, parenting, etc. so they prefer to have it done for them and that’s fine too.
“I’m extremely passionate about helping clients to get organized, however and whatever that looks like for them”
– Mishele Vieira, CPO®

We regulary work with both types of clients who often have overlapping issues and similar needs. Basically we work with clients who, for whatever reason have been unable to get organized on their own.
How We Work
Each session is unique and customized according to the client’s needs.
We start out by having a phone conversation, where I listen as you to you describe your situation, challenges, and needs. Then I tell you how we can help. If we decide we are a fit to work together, the first session is scheduled. There are many ways to work with us including in person, or even virtually. We can do anything from a single 4 hour session to weekly services depending on what you need or what projects you want to accomplish.
Please see our SERVICES page for full descriptions on all the ways to get started today!
