Away With Chaos Inc. is expanding our team. We are a Southern California based professional organizing consultancy company. We work with a wide variety of clients in a wide variety of organizational phases. Some of our projects are complex organizing situations including clients who have brain-based conditions that make it harder for them to get and stay organized, (ADHD, anxiety, some hoarding tendencies). And we also support busy people, who recently moved, had a baby or other life transition, and those who have gotten behind.

Away With Chaos

 

Position:

Organizer- Works under the direction of the lead organizer on-site in a client’s home or office. This is a part time position. Locations and hours vary. The majority of jobs take place during business hours, sometimes on weekends with occasional need for light administrative work on evenings or weekends.

Some of the tasks of the organizer include:

  • Sorting
  • Labeling
  • Filing
  • Taking progress photos, documenting job status
  • Preparing the room we are working in, and restoring it at end of session.
  • Managing and occasional transport of organizing supplies, recycling, trash, donations, shredding.
  • Communicating status of the project

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Compassion – The ability to meet clients where they are, with full acceptance and without judgement.
  • Integrity – you do what you say you will; and you do the right thing every time
  • Professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Basic Organizing Skills – And willingness to learn new techniques
  • A good eye and attention to detail
  • Technical knowledge – the ability to proficiently use a smartphone, computer, Google Suite and other cloud based apps
  • The ability to think and act on their own in sometimes stressful situations
  • The willingness to sign an NDA and non-compete agreement
  • The ability to pass a crimininal background check
  • The ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds and navigate stairs and occasional step ladders
  • Reliable, with your own transportation, a valid drivers license and current auto insurance
